  • Nordkinn CEO appointed as member of the newly established EMEA Committee of the Standards Board for Alternative Investments (SBAI)

    Established in 2008, the SBAI is a neutral standard-setting body for the alternative investment industry and custodian of the Alternative Investment Standards. The 11-member EMEA committee will address unique topics and facilitate the dialogue between asset owners, managers and regulators across EMEA. Its committee members are split across asset owners and managers and include Angela Borrett of Albourne Partners, Patrick Bronger of APG Asset Management, Erik Eidolf of Nordkinn Asset Management, Stuart Fiertz of Cheyne Capital Management, Fiona Frick of Unigestion, Doc Horn of Pictet Asset Management, Kristina Jacobsen of Ferd AS, Roy Kuo of Church Commissioners for England, Elena Manola-Bonthond of CERN Pension Fund (Committee Chairman), Kai Rimpi of Varma Mutual Pension Insurance Company and Martin Tornqvist of Capital Fund Management.

    Peter Hansson appointed as new board member of Nordkinn Asset Management AB

    Peter Hansson has been appointed as independent board member of Nordkinn Asset Management AB. The other independent members are Tor Bechmann (chair), Christer Franzén, Emma Ihre and Eva Redhe. With an industry experience of more than 25 years within the institutional investor community, including his previous role as CEO of SPK Sparinstitutens Pensionskassa (the Pension Insurance Company for Swedish savings banks), Mr. Hansson brings a specific asset owner perspective into Nordkinn. Besides Nordkinn, Mr. Hansson sits on the board of Första AP-fonden (AP1) and chairs the Investment Committee of Barncancerfonden (Swedish Childhood Cancer Fund).

    Nordkinn is excited to welcome Peter to Nordkinn and we look forward to working with him and the other members of our board in our continued efforts to develop Nordkinn as we move forward.
